Auto Expo 2016 begins on Wednesday, 10 most-awaited cars and bikes

The 13th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo will kick off on Tuesday and will see products from over 100 exhibitors out of which 65 will be vehicle manufacturers.
The Auto Expo 2016's Motor Show will be organised in Greater Noida and is likely to attract over 6 lakh visitors over 5 days.While the first two days are open to media and business visitors, the expo will be thrown open to the public from February 5-9. An estimated 7 lakh visitors are expected during the expo.

We take a look at the 10 most-awaited cars and bikes that will be showcased at the event.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
Maruti Vitara Brezza is, undoubtedly, one of the most-anticipated cars of this year. The Maruti Suzuki sub-compact SUV will have its debut on February 3 at the Auto Expo 2016. The Brezza is not just Maruti?s first sub-4 meter SUV in India, it?s also the first Maruti vehicle fully made by MSI's Indian R&D team. Initially, this compact SUV will be made available with a 89bhp, 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine only.
Hyundai i20-based sub-compact SUV
Hyundai will a sub-4 meter compact SUV at the Auto Expo 2016. Similar to other new-age Hyundai cars, the upcoming compact SUV will also follow the 2.0 Fluidic design philosophy, and share its platform, features and engine with the i20. Powering the new sub-compact SUV will be a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi and 1.2-litre Kappa VTVT petrol engine that will be coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Toyota Innova 2016
The Toyota Innova 2016, already on sale in Indonesia, will make its debut in India at the Auto Expo 2016. The MPV?s 2016 year model will be called ?Toyota Crysta? that will take on Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Honda Mobilio upon its launch. The India-spec model will be powered by a new 2.4-litre GD diesel engine that will come with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Honda BR-V
Honda BR-V will be showcased at the Delhi Auto expo 2016. After the Amaze and the Mobilio , the BR-V is the third product that has been developed by Honda Asia Pacific R&D team. The compact SUV will be offered with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine.
Tata Nexon Compact SUV
Tata Nexon compact SUV will be displayed at the upcoming Auto Expo along with 20 more Tata products. This compact SUV is on the X1 platform, and positioned between the Zest and the Safari Storm. It will share its exterior & interior design elements, and features with the Zica hatchback. Power for the vehicle will come from a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine, along with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylider turbocharged or a new all-aluminum Revotron petrol motor.
Volkswagen Ameo
Volkswagen will showcase the Ameo sub-4 metre sedan at its Auto Expo pavilion after its global debut a day before the Auto Expo i.e. February 2, 2016. This sub-4 meter SUV is based on the Volkswagen Polo hatchback, and shares its design bits and engine with its hatchback sibling. It will be available with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder MPI petrol and a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder TDI diesel engine options. Transmission duties will be managed by a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 7-speed DSG transmission will also be on offer.
Datsun GO-Cross
The Datsun GO-Cross is one of the most-anticipated vehicles to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016. Based on GO+ MPV platform, this mini SUV is expected to come with a 5-seater and a 7-seater version. Though, it will be the 5-seater version that will come first in the market. The mini SUV will feature the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder DOHC diesel engine that does duty on the GO+ MPV.
TVS Apache 300
The TVS Apache 300 concept will make its debut on February 3 at the Auto Expo 2016. Based on the BMW G310R, this naked sportbike will be powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder water-cooled engine, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. It?s the same engine that powers the BMW G 310 R. It is capable of churning out 33.5bhp of power and 28Nm of torque.
Suzuki Gixxer 250
The Japanese bikemaker is now planning to introduce a more powerful version of the Gixxer 250 that might make its debut at the Motor Show. Power for the bike will come from a 250cc, single-cylinder engine that will produce power around 28bhp ? 30bhp.
Honda Navi
Honda Scooter & Motorcycle India will unveil an all-new ?Honda Navi? scooter/motorcycle at the Auto Show. The Navi will be the first two-wheeler crossover in the country that will offer comfort & convenience of a scooter and capabilities of a motorcycle.
